Welcome to Seekonk Parks & Recreation

The mission of Seekonk Parks & Recreation Department is to provide inspiration and recreation opportunities for the Town of Seekonk residents through creation and maintenance of high quality programs, facilities, and community special events. By dedication and developing diverse services and programs that promote citizen involvement and strong sense of community. With this being said Parks and Recreation will strive to increase the social, cultural, and physical well being of its residents and generations to come.


The Parks and Recreation Committee meets on the second Monday of every month at the Town Hall, 100 Peck St; Seekonk MA starting at 6:30pm.



Office hours: Wednesday 5:00pm - 7:00 pm
Friday 9am - 12pm or by appointment

Saturday Kids Crafts is BACK!


Saturday Kids Craft Program

Sponsored by Seekonk Parks & Recreation


Every Saturday starting October 14th

1-3 pm

Cost: $6 per child per week

Open to all children ages 6+


  Each week we will offer 2 different crafts

As well as pony beading and fusible bead designs.

And for the older children


Specialty Crafts for Everyone ages 12+


10 am - 12 pm

December 16th  Snowman centerpiece

Due to limited quantities of materials this class size will be limited to the first 7 people that sign up.

*Please note hot glue guns will be used*


Cost $15 per project (price subject to change depending on the craft)

Bristol County Mosquito Control wants you to know it's never too early or too late to think about Mosquitos.

Gammino Pond & Cole Street were part of the Troop 1 Seekonk, Eagle Scout projects.

Town wide Scavenger hunt

Do you and your family Geo-Cache? 

Geo-caching is a fun new twist on a scavenger hunt.

It's a great way to get the whole family out of the house and into nature!

Starting October 24 - Seekonk Parks & Recreation will be hosting a TOWN WIDE SCAVENGER HUNT!


Free Parking Pass

We  are proud to offer a FREE one day parking pass to any MASS State Park or Beach.
